As well as our annual walking festival week of guided walks at the end of April, we are developing the following package to help you lead your own walks in the Ulverston area:-

• A free paper leaflet map of Ulverston town centre and the surrounding area. This is being finalised soon and will be available later this year in town centre shops and car parks. Contact us if you would like to see and comment on a draft copy.
• Walk guides web pages – see below – for 10 lovely self-guided walks that you can enjoy in and around Ulverston at any time of year. The paper map shows the 10 routes and for each includes a QR code that takes you to that walk’s webpage.
• An interactive online map of the Furness peninsula, which shows the route for each walk and (on a smartphone/tablet with GPS) enables you to track yourself on the map as you walk (your location never shared outside your device) and see route details at various waypoints around the walk.
